Powerful Feed System
The Model 3090 towable features an extremely powerful three wheel feed system and the track unit is offered with a dual feed wheel system. Each set-up makes feeding the unit simple and quick. These systems reduces hang-ups by compressing material with numerous forks and branches. Operators will spend less time repositioning material and more time feeding the unit. Optional vertical side feed wheels are optional on the towable 3090 and further enhance pulling and compressing abilities.
Infeed Conveyor
A heavy-duty 7’ 6″ long infeed conveyor is standard and assists with feeding shorter pieces of material or large piles of brush and tops. The conveyor combined with the feed wheels provides unmatched pulling and compressing power, and are the main reasons why the 3090 will outperform any competitive style unit in this size range.
Track Undercarriage
Caterpillar 320L steel track undercarriage can be added to the 3090. This feature allows it to travel over rough terrain not accessible by towable units. It also eliminates the need to forward or skid material to the chipper: the operator can take the chipper to the trees.
Clean Feed System
The “Clean Feed System” incorporates a design that virtually eliminates chip “carry around” and spillage off the back side of the chipper. This design is very efficient, delivering on average 5 percent more yield per load with fuel savings of approximately 30% per ton of material. It still incorporates Bandit’s patented Slide Box Feed System and does not affect Bandit’s legendary feeding power.
